Eric Burmeister has been with the Polk County Housing Trust Fund since 2010 and is currently the organization’s Executive Director. He has long been a proponent of affordable housing and through his work with the Polk County Housing Trust Fund he’s spent countless hours advocating and educating on an topic that is so often misconstrued and misunderstood. In his talk he argues that not having access to affordable housing can have grave consequences and we need to think about what type of housing our current and future workforce will need.
