Drake University professor Bob Stensrud will present the business case for hiring people with disabilities on Wednesday at a Greater Des Moines Partnership forum. The event, scheduled from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Jesse Parker Building, 510 E. 12th St., is part of a three-part education series for Iowa employers provided by the State Rehabilitation Council of Iowa in honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Stensrud’s current research focuses on social network analysis and the development of social capital as a way for people with disabilities to improve their integration into work and community settings. Click here to register.
