Wells Fargo & Co. is testing new banking technology that will allow its corporate customers to use biometric eye scanning to access accounts, the Denver Business Journal reported. The bank demonstrated the technology, which it plans to roll out to all of its corporate customers in the first half of 2016, Tuesday at the Association of Finance Professionals’ annual conference in Denver. Even with twins, eye vein structure is different in every eye, said Secil Watson, Wells Fargo’s executive vice president and head of Wholesale Internet Solutions.”From a machine’s perspective, they look at a number of elements in the eye and they can make a print; the eyes have more elements than even the face,” she said.
