UnityPoint Health announces Ankeny medical park

UnityPoint Health has started construction on a 59,000-square-foot medical park at the intersection of Northeast 36th Street and North Ankeny Boulevard in Ankeny.
“The new Ankeny medical park will provide a number of services within a single location to improve access and convenience for patients and families,” UnityPoint Health-Des Moines President and CEO Eric Crowell said in a release.
UnityPoint Health Ankeny Medical Park will include family medicine, physical therapy, a diagnostic center, a pharmacy, outpatient surgery and a stand-alone urgent care facility, according to the release.
The Iowa Digestive Disease Center and Iowa Radiology also will have clinics in the medical park, which is scheduled to open during the fourth quarter of 2016. The outpatient surgery center will open in 2017.
UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine and Urgent Care at 1105 N. Ankeny Blvd. will relocate to the medical park when it opens.
UnityPoint Clinics currently has six locations in Ankeny that provide a range of services, including pediatrics and OB-GYN, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatric therapy and occupational medicine.
