Hotel Fort Des Moines to close for renovation

Hotel staff members have been given the opportunity to interview for open positions at other properties owned by Hawkeye Hotels, and many have already moved into new positions, according to the release. Hawkeye Hotels owns and manages two other hotels in downtown Des Moines. Django, a restaurant located on the first floor of the hotel, will remain open during the renovation.
