The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s 2016 Annual Dinner featuring famed journalist Tom Brokaw sold out in record time. The Jan. 25 event at Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center at Veterans Memorial will feature the Peabody Award winner shortly before the Iowa caucuses. “It is fitting to have Tom Brokaw in our region to further underscore the importance and relevance of the Iowa caucuses, and we are pleased that a sold-out crowd will get to hear from one of the all-time-great broadcasters,” Partnership CEO Jay Byers said in a news release.
