LifeServe seeks blood donations prior to storm
LifeServe Blood Center is urging the community to give blood in preparation of the winter storm expected to hit on Tuesday. Winter weather can cause the blood supply to drop to critically low levels; however, giving blood before and after the storm will help ensure that lifesaving blood products are on the shelf the moment they are needed. Donors are encouraged to schedule appointments or walk in to donate. Appointments can be made online or by calling 800-287-4903.
