$50,000 Prairie Meadows grant to benefit Southeast Polk schools
Pleasant Hill on behalf of its police department has received a $50,000 grant from Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino for the purchase and installation of an interior and exterior antenna system within the Southeast Polk Junior and Senior High Schools. The antenna will allow school resource officers and first responders to communicate during emergencies without the risk of radio communication failure, said Pleasant Hill Police Chief Al Pizzano.
