The First Tee of Central Iowa, a nonprofit that promotes youth values through the game of golf, announced it will expand its 2016 Certification Program Summer Session to Jester Park Golf Course in Granger. The compact session mirrors the intensive six-week program, which runs in June and July of each summer. This session will begin July 25, run two weeks and end with a youth tournament on Aug. 8. Jester Park Golf Course is the fifth metro facility to host the certification program. Registration is currently open for children ages 7-17 and costs $75 per child.
