Capital Crossroads team visits St. Louis today
Thirteen members of the Capital Crossroads 2.0 committee are in St. Louis today learning about best practices in regionalism. Presentations will include information about a major greenway, art organizations and regional business groups, said Sophia Ahmad, vice president of public relations for the Greater Des Moines Partnership. The group will return to Des Moines later today. Capital Crossroads is a visioning process that develops plans for Central Iowa, examining topics ranging from natural resources to public health, housing to transportation.
