Registration open for Healthiest State walk
The Healthiest State Initiative’s sixth annual statewide walk, presented by Delta Dental of Iowa, is now open for registration. The goal of the Oct. 5 event is to have walks organized and registered in all 99 counties. The Healthiest State Initiative is asking Iowans to #StepItUp to 30 minutes of walking from the 1K walk that was done previously, reflecting the U.S. surgeon general’s call to action. Businesses, schools, communities and colleges can go online to register for the Oct. 5 event.
