This year’s honorees have helped business leaders in crisis communications, they’ve climbed to the top levels of the city’s largest corporations, and they’ve reinvented entire departments of state government. They have dedicated themselves to helping other women, children and the less fortunate and have used their voices and their experiences to help others navigate difficult circumstances. They have dedicated themselves to their communities and to others, even while raising their own children. They’ve risen to challenges, even when they weren’t completely sure they were up to it.
