Hopper and members of his cohort were selected for the program based on their professional experience, passion for teaching and learning, innovative use of technology in school settings, and potential impact on other educators. Certified Innovators strive to change the world of education by tackling complex opportunities to develop new-world solutions. “There is no shortage of data projects going on throughout the Ankeny district,” Hopper said. “For example, our secondary buildings are exploring the possibility using digital data to help identify students who need additional supports.”
