Environmental organizations plan to create Service Squad
The Iowa Environmental Council and Iowa Rivers Revival plan to create a Service Squad that will coordinate volunteers for cleanup projects. But first, they will join with Confluence Brewing Co. to hold a “clean water happy hour” from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 14 at Confluence, 1235 Thomas Beck Road. That’s a networking event. Read more details.
