The Greater Des Moines Partnership plans a state policy agenda kickoff meeting from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at its headquarters, 700 Locust St. Major topic areas include economic development, research and development, tax and budget and business climate, education and workforce development, health care, quality of life, sustainable development, and transportation, infrastructure and energy.
