If you are on a road trip or want to plan one, check out the Tech Town Hall at 3 p.m at Stoney Creek Inn in Moline, Ill., followed by TechBrew (that means beer-drinking and networking) at 4 p.m. Panelists will include the chancellor of Eastern Iowa Community Colleges, an analyst, a representative of Deere and Co., an information technology vice president from a tech firm, and a defense contractor. TAI also is preparing for its 5 p.m. Sept. 8 rebranding launch party at Pillar Technology’s The Forge, 1420 Locust St., Des Moines.
