FemCity Des Moines, a local chapter of a national organization designed to provide support and resources to small businesses and entrepreneurs, has announced board members and its first event for 2017. FemCity will host its first Coffee Connection on Jan. 6 at Molly’s Cupcakes in Des Moines. The event starts at 7:30 a.m. with networking at 7 a.m. All are welcome to attend to learn about the organization and membership opportunities. Attendees can also attend to meet new board members, which includes Emily Boyd, president; Morgan Baumert, vice president; Sunni Swarbrick.
