The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced that registration is now open for the next cohort of its DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) Management Certification Program. In partnership with Des Moines-based Schabel Solutions Inc., the program aims to help participants build and sustain successful DEI practices in the workforce, workplace and marketplace. The program will run every other Tuesday from Aug. 29 to Nov. 7, with each workshop taking place from 9 a.m. to noon. The program aligns with Schabel Solutions’ goal of normalizing inclusive behaviors, operationalizing equity, and building the necessary skills, confidence and plans for inclusive, collaborative, innovative and productive work environments, according to Claudia Schabel, founder, president and CEO of Schabel Solutions. Seats for the program are limited and reserved for those interested in advancing DEI within their organizations. Individuals and organizations offering DEI-related consulting and training services to external customers are not eligible to participate without approval from the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Schabel Solutions.
