State gives training funds for construction apprenticeship programs
Iowa Workforce Development has awarded training funds to four organizations for their registered apprenticeship programs. Receiving funds from the $6.2 million registered apprenticeship grant are Associated Builders and Contractors of Iowa, Southeastern Community College Center for Business, the Southeast Iowa Electrical Apprenticeship and the Iowa Energy Construction Trades for affiliate members of the Iowa State Building and Construction Trades Council.
