21 Central Iowa women named to Forty Under 40 class
More than half of the members of this year’s Business Record Forty Under 40 class are women, marking the most to ever be honored in a single class.
The Business Record announced its 16th annual list of Forty Under 40 honorees last week. These 40 local business leaders, who were chosen by past award winners, are under the age of 40 and have demonstrated impressive career achievements and unparalleled community involvement.
Together, they join 600 past Business Record Forty Under 40 honorees to bring the total number of honorees to 640 since the Business Record began the awards in 2000.
Women in this year’s class include:
- Jenna Ekstrom, manager of individual giving, Des Moines Art Center.
- Lindsay Moser, campus and diversity & inclusion manager, Principal Financial Group Inc.
- Amy Croll, executive director, Community Youth Concepts.
- Emily Hamilton, executive director, Des Moines “I Have A Dream” Foundation.
- Christina Fernandez-Morrow, executive director, Latina Leadership Initiative of Greater Des Moines.
…and many others.
Each of the honorees will be profiled in the Feb. 27 edition of the Business Record and be recognized at an event on March 10.
