The Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce is launching a new 10-month women’s leadership development program series called Leadership, Education, and Advancement Pipeline. Each event will feature resources for advancing women and also serve as a way to connect attendees with possible mentors, as well as opportunities to serve on boards. The first event in the series will take place March 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will address mentoring with representatives from Million Women Mentors – Iowa and Community Connect speaking. All programs will be held at the Holiday Inn Downtown.
