The Camp Fire Heart of Iowa is accepting nominations for its annual Absolutely Incredible Kid awards. The program recognizes children over age 12 and young adults who have, in the last year, given to their community by volunteering, sharing their talents and leadership skills or by helping to weather a family crisis. Recipients will be honored at the annual Absolutely Incredible Kid Day breakfast, held at the Windsor Heights Community Center on March 27. Nomination forms can be foundonline or picked up at Camp Fire Heart of Iowa office at 5615 Hickman Road, Des Moines. Nominations will be accepted through midnight Jan. 31 and can be mailed to the Camp Fire Heart of Iowa office, or emailed to campfire@campfireusaia.org.
