Drake professor to speak in lecture series
The Pioneer-Iowa Council for International Understanding International Dialogue Series will host speaker Mahmoud Hamad, associate professor of politics at Drake University, today from noon to 1 p.m. at the Des Moines Central Library, 1000 Grand Ave.
The topic will be “Democracy in the Middle East; A Future Reality or a Mirage?” The event is free and open to the public.
