Google to hold event in Pella
Iowa Get Your Business Online, a collaboration between Google Inc. and local groups, will hold a free event in Pella on Friday.
The initiative is designed to help small businesses without a website develop a free, easy-to-build site and receive a customized domain name and free website-hosting for a year. Google has already held events in Council Bluffs, Waterloo and Cedar Falls.
Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley will be in attendance at the event in Pella, which will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Royal Amsterdam Hotel, 705 E. First St. To register, click here.
