MidAmerican Energy Co. ranked highest in the Midwest Region-Large Segment category for overall consumer satisfaction in the J.D. Power and Associates 2012 Electric Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study. The study evaluated nearly 100 U.S. utilities for overall customer satisfaction, and measured satisfaction by examining power quality and reliability, billing and payment, corporate citizenship, price, communications and customer service.
