A report released today from S&P/Case-Shiller showed that in 20 major cities, housing prices fell a lower rate in March than in the 12 preceding months, signaling an improvement in the housing market, according to Bloomberg.

Prices dropped 2.6 percent in March after falling 3.5 percent in February. Nationally, housing prices only dropped by 1.9 percent, but economists say the 20-city index is more accurate than the national index, according to Bloomberg.
