EMCC gets high rating from A.M. Best
A.M. Best Co. has given a positive outlook rating to Employer Mutual Casualty Co.(EMCC) and its subsidiaries, EMC Reinsurance Co. and EMC Insurance Group Inc., all of which are based in Des Moines.
A.M. Best gave EMCC a financial stability rating of A- and an issuer credit rating of a- for the company and its subsidiaries. EMCC was given the rating for its strong risk-adjusted capital, favorable core underwriting values and the actions EMCC has taken related to pricing and risk selection, according to A.M. Best.
