PricewaterhouseCoopers signs five-year lease at Hub Tower
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC US) has signed a five-year lease for about 4,700 square feet of office space at Hub Tower, 699 Walnut St., in a move that marks its return to Greater Des Moines. The company said in a news release that the location was important because it is in the central business district. Hub Tower was bought out of receivership in 2010 by Employers Mutual Casualty Co. The amount of space leased by PwC suggests it plans to employ about 25 people at Hub Tower. Regus plc also has leased space in the building, which will be rented to businesses wanting conference rooms, executive offices and other business amenities on a short-term basis. Regus plans an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 21. The 20-story Hub Tower was part of the downtown renaissance of the 1980s.
