Bearence Management Group has acquired its third Twin Cities-based insurance company. West Des Moines-based Bearence announced Monday that it had purchased T.C. Field & Co. of St. Paul, Minn., an independently owned, full-service insurance agency that was founded in 1912. Last year, Bearence acquired Rosenbloom & Rosenbloom Inc. and Tousley Financial Benefits Inc., both with headquarters in Minneapolis. Bearence also has operations in Indianapolis, Kansas City and Nashville. Bearence provides risk, investment, consulting, communications, outsourcing and consulting services in the insurance and finance sectors.

Italian auto maker Fiat SpA and Chrysler LLC today confirmed that Fiat will take at least a 35 percent stake in Chrysler as part of a deal to share technology and bring small cars developed by Fiat to the United States, The Wall Street Journal reported. People familiar with the matter said that under terms of the deal, Fiat has the option of increasing its stake to as much as 55 percent, and it is likely that Fiat will eventually control Chrysler’s operations.

Rockwell Collins’ board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of 24 cents per share on the Cedar Rapids-based company’s common stock. The dividend will be payable March 9 to shareowners of record at the close of business on Feb. 16.

Rachel Flint, director of marketing for Hubbell Realty Co., will be on a panel of speakers today at the National Association of Home Builders 2009 international builders’ show. Flint will focus on the Sunday community events that Hubbell Homes held last summer and also will discuss the company’s recent Hailey Brownstone Facebook campaign. Both campaigns have been covered in Builder, a national trade magazine.
