The Iowa Utilities Board has extended for at least three more years a contract with Hamilton Telephone Co., the Aurora, Neb.-based provider of Relay Iowa, a telecommunications relay service that gives individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have difficulty speaking the opportunity to make personal and business telephone calls. Hamilton’s new contract runs from Jan. 1, 2011, to Dec. 31, 2013. The company, which has provided the service since 2005, was selected by a competitive bidding process.
