MPO receives $2 million grant
The Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) was awarded a $2 million grant today from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The MPO is one of 45 recipients of the grant funding through the Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant Program. The money will be used to develop a regional plan for sustainable development in the MPO’s coverage area.
