Living History Farms receives education grant
Living History Farms announced yesterday that it has received $20,000 from the Monsanto Fund to support education and outreach programs.
The programs are designed to educate children about the importance of farm and rural life.
“This grant will allow us to not only provide students here at Living History Farms with unique hands-on activities, but actually brings us directly into the classrooms around the state for those schools that can no longer afford to take field trips,” said Ruth Haus, president of Living History Farms, in a press release.
