Playhouse tickets on sale
The Des Moines Community Playhouse will hold its Holiday Hoopla program at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Playhouse theater, 831 42nd St.
The show will feature a list of performers that includes Madison Barnes, who performed in the musical “Billy Elliot” in Chicago, and American Idol contestants Megan Bobo and Katelyn Epperly.
The show is sponsored by Principal Financial Group Inc., which will donate proceeds to youth and education programs at the Playhouse. Tickets are $100 and can be ordered by calling 277-6261.
