A new series hosted by Michael Gartner has been announced by the Des Moines Downtown Chamber of Commerce. “The Journey,” which is intended to share the stories of local business leaders, will kick off on Jan. 27 with a one-hour, one-on-one interview with Suku Radia, president and CEO of Bankers Trust Co. Laura Hollingsworth, president and publisher of The Des Moines Register, David Maxwell, president of Drake University, and Mary O’Keefe, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Principal Financial Group Inc., are scheduled to be interviewed by Gartner, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, on April 12, Aug. 18 and Nov. 8, respectively. The interviews will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at Principal, 711 High St. The series is free for chamber members and $20 for nonmembers.
