Jones Lang LaSalle to manage Harris Bank’s properties
Harris Bank has hired Jones Lang LaSalle to handle property management for its 310 banks in the Midwest, GlobeSt.com reported.
Following a decade of Jones Lang LaSalle handling facility management for the bank, it will now add to its role transaction management and strategic consulting, as well as property management, for Harris Bank office and retail properties.
The 4 million-square-foot portfolio comprises commercial properties in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin, as well as some affiliate offices throughout the country.
Based in Chicago, Harris Bank is owned by Toronto-based BMO Financial Group.
According to C. Scott Ford, national director of Jones Lang LaSalle’s corporate solutions division, retail banking is one of the firm’s core competencies. “Outsourcing is a great way for these banks to save money,” he said.
The terms of the contract were not disclosed.
