Kidsfest kicks off March 4
Kidsfest, the annual Children & Families of Iowa fund-raiser, will take place March 4-6 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. The three-day event, which begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 4, will include activities, games and entertainment in a family-friendly environment. The cost is $7 and all ticket proceeds will go toward helping at-risk families and children in the state. About 10,000 people and more than 100 vendors are expected to attend. Last year, the event raised more than $155,000.
