MPO to hold TIP public meeting next week
The Des Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public meeting on May 31 to receive input and comments on the Federal Fiscal Years 2012-2015 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
The MPO develops the four-year TIP at the request of the Federal Highway Administration to submit to the Iowa Department of Transportation. The TIP is designed to identify regionally significant projects and highlights projects that MPO member governments and participating agencies anticipate implementing using federal money.
The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Des Moines East Side Library, 2559 Hubbell Ave.
