New tutoring center to help students stay on track

On Tuesday, the Iowa College Student Aid Commission (Iowa College Aid) announced the opening of the College Access Programs (CAP) Tutoring Center, a new resource for students attending Des Moines public high schools to help them stay on track to graduate.

The center is located on the second floor of the Des Moines Public Library’s Central Campus and will offer its services on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information about the CAP Tutoring Center, please contact John Gilman, GEAR UP Iowa project coordinator, at (877) 272-4456.
