Verizon Wireless network connections falter

Verizon Wireless users across the country experienced data connection problems with the company’s high-speed wireless network earlier today, Reuters reported. It was the second high-profile service problem this month for the company, which boasts it is the “most reliable.” A Dec. 8 outage prevented some U.S. customers from accessing the Internet on their wireless devices for about 24 hours. Today, users reported trouble maintaining a steady data connection as well as misleading connectivity statuses in which some devices displayed icons that indicated a connection when no actual connection occurred.
