Keillor to speak at Bucksbaum lecture
Garrison Keillor, host of the radio show “A Prairie Home Companion” and best-selling author, will be the speaker at Drake University’s 27th Martin Bucksbaum Distinguished Lecture. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the Knapp Center, 2525 Forest Ave. Keillor kicked off his radio show in 1974, and his audience has grown to more than 4.3 million weekly listeners on close to 600 public radio stations.
