Des Moines is best city for families
Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine has named Des Moines the best place for families in the United States, according to a release.
The magazine made the announcement as part of its Best Places to Live for All Stages of Life list, which broke down the best places to live under different categories.
Des Moines was named Best City for Families because of relatively low housing costs and good public schools, according to the magazine.
The Principal Riverwalk and numerous bike trails also led to the city being named to the top spot. For the full list, click here.
