Berkshire holds shareholder meeting
Warren Buffett and Charles Munger reassured investors in Berkshire Hathaway Inc. about the company’s profitability during a shareholders meeting in Omaha, where the two took questions for more than than five hours.
Buffett said the group is working on a deal that could top the company’s largest acquisition in 2010 of BNSF Railway Co. “Berkshire will continue to grow,” Buffett told Bloomberg Television. “Someday, $34 billion will not be the limit.”
Buffett and Munger also discussedsuccession, the Citizens United ruling and Buffett’s recent diagnosis of prostate cancer, which he said was nothing for investors to worry about.
