Rubio speaks to Des Moines Partnership
The Greater Des Moines Partnership hosted Florida Sen. Marco Rubio yesterday during its annual lobbying trip to Washington, D.C. Rubio spoke on a variety of issues, from immigration reform to tax policy and American exceptionalism, according to Politico.
Rubio, who many speculate is on presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s short list of vice presidential candidates, was introduced by Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley. According to Politico, Rubio stayed away from overly partisan rhetoric to appeal to the bipartisan crowd. Read more.
