United Fire elects directors
Cedar Rapids-based United Fire Group Inc. elected five directors to its 12-member board during the annual stockholders meeting Wednesday. The new directors are Scott Carlton, president of SGL Carbon LLC in North Carolina, Christopher Drahozal, a law professor at the University of Kansas School of Law, Jack Evans, president of the Hall-Perrine Foundation in Cedar Rapids, George Milligan, president of the Graham Group Inc. in Des Moines, and Michael Phillips, founder and president of Investors’ Actuarial Services LLC in Maryland.
