Offices in Greater Des Moines might have been a little louder than usual on Friday, June 25. Workers were celebrating Take Your Dog to Work Day, an event intended to spread awareness about “man’s best friend” and encourage adoption from shelters. Employees at the Central Iowa Tobacco-free Partnership also promoted Truthful Tails on Friday to spread awareness about how secondhand smoke affects pets.
