About me:

I have written for the Business Record since January 2008 covering a wide variety of topics and conflicts.

In August of 2011 I took on the new beat of Real Estate & Development of which the area of commercial real estate falls under. I’ll be your go to contact for anything CRE related, as I also put our our weekly commercial real estate e-newsletter, CRE Weekly. 

I am a native of Indianola and worked for the Quad-City Times before taking a job in 1985 with the Columbus Dispatch in Columbus, Ohio, where my wife Sue and I raised our family.

In 2006, we bought a farm in southern Warren County and within a couple of years both of our adult children had followed us to Iowa.
