Canstruction event back in March
The American Institute of Architects’ Iowa chapter will hold its Canstruction event from March 2 to 9 at the Science Center of Iowa.
The competition, in its 17th year, is designed to put a visual spotlight on fighting hunger, while showcasing the design community. Local architects, design professionals, engineers and students will design and build sculptures using canned food as their primary building material.
People visiting the display are encouraged to bring canned food donations for the Food Bank of Iowa.
