The Greater Des Moines area has dozens of retail areas for residents and visitors to shop, from “power centers” featuring big-box stores to strip centers to storefronts along high-traffic corridors in urban and suburban neighborhoods. Our Project515 panelists discussed the importance of all of these shopping options in the retail sector ecosystem. In addition, panelists provided details about the goings-on in a handful of retail areas across the metro.
