Ingersoll LIVE to take place Aug. 25

Ingersoll LIVE, hosted by Mediacom Business, will take place between the 2800-2900 block of Ingersoll Avenue on Aug. 25 from 2 to 11 p.m.

The free event will feature more than 30 vendor booths from area businesses, restaurants, local artists and bands. 

The event will feature rides and inflatables as well as a free bike valet, provided by the Des Moines Bicycle Collective. 

The festival will kick off at with a performance by the Isiserettes Drill & Drum Corp, followed by the Roosevelt High School Choir. 

Later in the day, Brother Trucker, an American roots-rock band, and Faculty Lounge, a band whose members consist of teachers, coaches and administrators in the Des Moines public schools, will perform.
