Boss lift-off
Two Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopters carried employers from across the state to Camp Ripley, Minn., this month to observe members the Iowa Army National Guard undergo portions of their two-week annual training. Business Record reporter Todd Razor joined 41 other civilians on this year’s BossLift, an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program that transports employers to military training sites to gauge soldiers’ experiences. Hubbell Homes wrapped up its nine-plex housing structure located at the corner of 21st and Forest Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. This nine-plex will be rental homes to families with household incomes of $13,000 or less.
